SONY PROFESSIONAL PROCEDURES

GENERAL

We have been the authorised SONY PROFESSIONAL service point for Belgium and Luxembourg for a number of years now.
For example: Broadcast & Pro AV, Broadcast solutions, projectors, 4K Digital Camera, video security, Medical products, visual communications, professional displays,...

A specific procedure applies to projectors UNDER WARRANTY only.

easyRepair provides full service support for the following items: 

• • Broadcast AV SD - live production camera chains (e.g. BVP, DXC)
  • Broadcast AV SD - tape-based, high-end (e.g. DVW, J, MSW, PDW)
  • Broadcast AV SD+HD - XDCAM high-end (e.g. PDW)
  • Monitors - AV (e.g. BVM, LMD, PVM)
  • Professional Audio - audio recorders, wireless mics (e.g. PCM, UWP, WRR, WRT)
  • Professional AV - DVCAM, HDV, NXCAM (e.g. DVO, DSR, HVO, HVR, HXR)
  • Professional AV - XDCAM EX (e.g. PMW, HDC-X)
  • Switchers - AV presentation (e.g. BRS, DFS)

UNDER WARRANTY REPAIRS

Warranty periods

• • To be entitled to an extended warranty, advise your customer to register his/her item after purchase via PrimeSupportregistration.
  • Non-registered items = 1-year warranty via the ONE STOP HELPDESK.
  • Items covered by PrimeSupport benefit from an extended warranty, depending on type.
  • Items covered by PrimeSupport+ benefit from a 5-year warranty.

Procedure

• • Types listed in the ‘General’ section can simply be registered for repair/collection via our DEALER LOGIN.
  • A specific procedure applies to defective projectors UNDER GUARANTEE; these are not treated by us.
  Herefore you must contact Sony PrimeSupport via primesupport@eu.sony.com
  • If you go directly through PrimeSupport, the item will be collected and returned to you after it has been repaired.

OUT OF WARRANTY REPAIRS

PLEASE NOTE: easyRepair does repair OUT OF WARRANTY projectors!

• Please use the normal DEALER-LOGIN PROCEDURE to register your item for collection/repair.
